Donald R. Littrell

"Donald (Don) Littrell, 90, of Custer, Washington, fulfilled his greatest wish to meet his beloved Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 15, 2026. He was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, sibling, and friend, and his presence will be sorely missed.

Don was born on July 20, 1935 in the town of Aline, Oklahoma. He started his working career at Boeing in Wichita, Kansas, which sent him to Boeing in Seattle, Washington, as part of a layoff and restructuring, where he met his beloved wife Ramona (Mona) Ellis. Don found his Lord and Savior in early married life, and started a new life of sharing the gospel to all he met, jumping in feet first with trusting God to guide his path by starting his own business in flooring. Don told the Lord he would follow him with his whole heart if he took care of his needs and guided his path throughout all his days, and through all his years they never lacked for anything. One of his greatest joys was making cross country trips to personally share the good news, which he did faithfully until the day he died (He planned on driving to Georgia for this 4th of July to also visit his second home-away-from-home with his daughter Linda).

In his recent years, Don focused on his faith and the miracles God provided, whether it was from some kind stranger buying his coffee, to someone buying his groceries, to being able to share the gospel, he always came home with a story of a new miracle every day. His favorite food was pancakes, bacon, hash-browns and eggs (the Don Littrell special), which he loved making for anyone who came by, with his motto being “It’s no harder to make it for 2 or 3 than it is for one’.

Don is survived by his sisters, Barbara and Eddie Kletke, Peggy and Butch VanMeter, Alberta, and his brother, Bill and Rene Littrell, his children Darla and Mike Valdez, Linda and Tony Thompson, Howard and Keren Littrell, Kenny Littrell, Russ and Suzanne Littrell, and over 80 grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren. Don will meet in heaven his Savior, his beloved wife Ramona, oldest daughter Cathy, his parents Elbert and Edith Littrell, and his siblings Wanda Goins, Jack Littrell, Fay Littrell, Pete Littrell, Norma Hufford, and George Littrell."
