Michelle Lynn Loewen (Bye), age 51, of Custer passed away Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Alderwood Park Health and Rehabilitation in Bellingham, WA. from Ovarian Cancer. She was born December 5, 1974 in Bellingham, WA. 

Michelle graduated from Blaine High School with the Class of 1993 and worked as a Caregiver for Catholic Community Services for over twenty years.

Michelle is survived by husband, Richard Loewen of Custer; mother Barbara Roe of Blaine; aunt Diane and uncle Robert Armstrong of Bellingham; in-laws, Virginia and Vern Billings of Blaine; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Tony and Melissa Strickler of Deming; and numerous other relatives and close friends. She is preceded in death by her brother, Daniel Bye; step-father, John Roe; uncle Richard and aunt Linda Armstrong; and grandparents, Floyd and Jeanette Armstrong.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at 12:00 Noon at Christ Community Church, 4310 H Street, Blaine, WA 98230, with Pastor Nate Johnson officiating with Refreshments following.
