William Eugene Todahl, Sr.

William “Bill” E. Todahl, Sr., age 89, of Bellingham passed away at his home Friday, December 16, 2022. He was born June 29, 1933 in Bellingham to parents Elroy and Geneva (Newell) Todahl. He was born and raised in Bellingham and graduated from Bellingham High School. After graduation Bill joined the US Army serving during the Korean War.  After the War Bill went to work for Georgia Pacific Pulp and Paper Manufacturing Company for 37 years before he retired. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Betty, son William Todahl, Jr. and his daughter Kathi Hanson; he is survived by his children Roseann Todahl-Day and her husband Jeff, Susan Featherstone and husband Robert and Rick Todahl and his wife Darlene and son inlaw Stan Hanson; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; brother Marlyn Todahl, his sister Sharon Bailey and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held 1:00 PM, Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2022 at Bayview Cemetery in Bellingham.
