Vicki Marie Johnson

On September 1, 2013 Vicki Marie Johnson received her heavenly reward after a prolonged battle with Alzheimer’s disease. “Absent from the body, present with the Lord.”

Vicki was born to Neil and Evelyn Anderson on January 21, 1953 in Seattle, WA. She married Erik Johnson in 1977. After their move to Ferndale in 1981 she invested her creativity into being a mother, pastor’s wife, artist, calligrapher, mentor, encourager, and speaker at women’s meetings, retreats, and seminars. Her greatest joy was her five children into whose lives she poured her energies as home educator. She also taught art and calligraphy to children and adults throughout Whatcom County. She loved gardening, singing, and hugs.

Vicki will be remembered for her generosity, caring heart, and vibrant personality. She was a woman of faith, hope, love, beauty, poise, humor, laughter, and creativity. She will be dearly missed.
