Thomas (Tommy) R. Lee

Thomas (Tommy) R. Lee, age 79 of Ferndale, passed away at his home Wednesday, April 5, 2017.  He was born January 18, 1938 in Bellingham, WA to Rudy and Gladys (Lonseth) Lee.  He was a lifelong resident of Ferndale, Whatcom County and graduated from Ferndale High School in 1956.  Tom retired from the Intalco Aluminum plant after many years of employment.  He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, crabbing, and was a volunteer for the Ferndale Fire Department for many years.  Tom was preceded in death by his parents Rudy and Gladys Lee and his niece Lorri Larson.  He is survived by his wife, Marlene (Briscoe); their dog, Missy; son, Greg (Patrick)Lee; daughter, Jodi and family; son, Jeff (Lisa)Lee; grandchildren, Sheena, Ashley, Jason and Gracie Lee; step-son Bob (Carol) Briscoe, their sons Jonathan and Eric; step-daughter, Barb Davison and her children, Ryan and Kim; and his two sisters Virginia (Larry) Foster and Nadine (Gary) Bocek.  Uncle Tom was greatly loved and adored by his numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  A open house celebration of his life will be Saturday, April 22, 2017, 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Totem Terrace in Ferndale.  In lieu of flowers please send donations to Sandy Point Fire Department.
