Terry Lynne (Holland) Hee

On June 10, 2025, Terry Lynne (Holland) Hee passed away at Whatcom Hospice House in Bellingham, WA. Terry always displayed a deep, unwavering faith and held an unyielding trust in God’s plan for her life.

Terry was predeceased by her parents, Len and Esther Holland, and her son, Kevin (d. 2021). Terry is survived by her son David, Kevin's family, four sisters, numerous extended family members and close friends.

Terry was the eldest of a family of five sisters. She grew up in Vancouver, BC, Canada, and after graduation worked as a Lab Technician, which opened the door for her move to Hawaii at age 24.

During her 30+ years in Hawaii, Terry completed a master’s degree in business administration at the University of Hawaii and earned her CPA. Terry was married (1977), raised two much loved sons, Kevin & David, balanced a busy home and an amazing career. Terry held various roles in Hawaii, including Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance & Administration at the Hawaii Visitors & Convention Bureau. She developed a passion for travel and enjoyed many incredible trips with her sons. She always had an open door for family and friends to visit.

In 2005 Terry retired early, leaving Hawaii to settle in Birch Bay, WA to be closer to her Canadian family. Retirement included spending much loved time with her family, extended family, BBBCC church work, visitation, volunteering at local ministries, Bible Study, book clubs, sister retreats and as many trips as she could manage.

Terry was so loved by all who knew her.

Services will be private. A gathering will be held in honor of her during a small Celebration of Life in the near future.
