Terry Charles Berglund

Terry Charles Berglund, age 75, entered heaven unexpectedly Tuesday, March 28, 2023 as a result of a motorcycle accident. He passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital with his wife and youngest daughter at his side.

Terry was born Feb. 17, 1948 in Fargo, ND, and moved to Washington at age three. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Glory Berglund and his son Noel Foster. Terry is survived by his wife Donna Sue; his children Kathleen (Leonard) McKinney, Kimberly (Jason) Smith, Howard (Crystal) Foster, and Rhianna (Gustavo) Camacho; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

 Terry attended grade schools in Kitsap County, WA. Colleges include Olympic College, University of Washington, Orange Coast, Western Washington University and Skagit Community College. He served in the US Navy 1969-1975 as a Fire Control Technician, E-6, earning his Honorable Discharge. He was employed in the hotel industry as a Senior Interface Developer until retirement.

 He enjoyed tennis, ice hockey, photography, motorcycle riding, skin diving, horseback riding, and watching the Seahawks and Kraken. He was a member of NCHOG and CMA motorcycle associations.

Terry was a born again Christian who loved and served the Lord as a treasurer, deacon, elder, and bass player. He was known for having a sharp wit and a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed.

 A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Northwest Baptist Church, 3545 Northwest Avenue, Bellingham, WA 98225.
