Stanley Leonard Streubel (November 2, 1949 – April 29, 2026), a lifelong resident of Whatcom County, passed away at the age of 76.
Stanley was born on November 2, 1949. He spent much of his career as a heavy equipment operator with Teamsters Union 302. Stan was a jack of many trades to include masonry, logging, fishing, vehicle repair, remodeling, and so much more. He was always helping family with projects and serving in his community in various roles to include serving in the Republican committee and POWWR.
He is survived by his family, including his wife Kitty Streubel, his daughter Tarrin (Streubel) Warren and his son Austin Streubel. Siblings: Marvin Streubel, Maureen (Streubel) Thompson, and Leslie (Streubel) Pinkston. His grandkids Jaedon and Dawson Warren, Grayson Streubel and Audrey Gargus, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and loving extended family and friends that he impacted. His family will carry on his legacy of faith, hard work and service.
He was preceded in death by his father Leaonard Harry Streubel, mother Wanda (Smith) Hall, wife Bonnie (Brown) Streubel.
A memorial service will be held on July 9th, 2026, 6pm, Deming Log Show Museum. Bring your favorite side or dessert. Stan loved a good gathering with food.
Stanley will be remembered for love of family and community. He was an outdoor enthusiast that loved skiing on both snow and water. He loved sports: football, basketball, baseball, ice skating, track, and was often seen in the bleachers cheering on family members. He loved working on the family property.
