Sharon LeDuc Pulse

Sharon LeDuc Pulse (Sharon Marget LeDuc) was born September 12, 1941, in Havre, Montana to Margret and Lawrence LeDuc. Sharon passed away peacefully at home on the shoulder of her loving husband, Bill Pulse, on September 28, 2017.  Sharon’s spirit was magical. She was able to make an everyday event special and turn it into an extra ordinary celebration with her creativity and attention to detail. She was a lifelong learner who enjoyed books, the arts, genealogy and learning and speaking French. Her curiosity was endless. Sharon was a beautiful person both on the inside and out. Her striking looks, intuitive sense, and graceful presence made everyone she came in contact feel uniquely treasured and instantly welcome. Her friendship, genuine love, loyalty and presence is valued by her many friends and her family, and will be greatly missed! Above all, she cherished time spent with her family. She and Bill traveled and enjoyed seeing and experiencing different parts of the world and sharing these special places with close friends. Her family was profoundly important to her.  She cherished and looked forward to time spent with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter Kim (Dan) Matthew and Michael of Pullman, her sons Steve (Beckie) James, Evan, Nicole, Emma, and Sara of Woodinville and John (Lawren) Alex, Isabel, and Olivia of San Diego, and her brother John (Sy) Sone of Everett. Sharon and Bill worked hard to build a family business of which they were proud and provided them with many opportunities.  She was exceptionally skilled at organization and the financial aspects of the endeavor.  As life partners, she and Bill cherished each other’s strengths and enjoyed traveling together, especially to Paris. Sharon’s greatest delight was in her three children and ten grandchildren.  As a mom she was a guiding light who was involved in many activities, and she was always a supportive cheerleader.  Her house was where all the kids wanted to be!  Her grandchildren were treated to many special occasions, as memory making was a top priority for Sharon.  Her family always knew they had Sharon’s unconditional love and admiration, and that she was so proud of their accomplishments and their potential. Sharon was keenly interested in each person’s life story.  She asked questions to connect, she listened, and she made others feel good about being around her.  Sharon’s acceptance and wisdom were felt and appreciated by many. Sharon’s legacy and radiance will shine on forever.  In her memory, remember to be joyful, creative, curious, graceful, loving, hardworking, cherishing, supportive, admiring, proud, accepting, and strive to genuinely connect with others. Cheers to Sharon and a life well lived! Although your physical presence is no longer with us, we will miss your hugs, the sound of your voice, the good-bye dances, and the magical fairy dust.  We know you will always be in our hearts and travel with us wherever our journeys may go. A Celebration of Sharon’s life is set for Saturday, November 25, 2017, from 1-4pm at the Squalicum Boathouse, 2600 S Harbor Loop Drive, Bellingham Washington 98225.
