Scott Wesley French

Scott Wesley French, age 37, lost his long battle with cancer, but lives on in our hearts.  He passed away peacefully into the arms of his Heavenly Father on December 18, 2017.  He was born to Wayne and Laurie French on March 29 1980 and graduated from Ferndale High School.  Scott loved adventure and enjoyed Motocross and Snowboarding until his stroke in 2007.  His highlight of every year was to spend time at our river property on the Nooksack River and was delighted to have been able to spend a few weekends there this past summer.  Scott valued his friendships, especially the ones with his childhood buddies.

Scott (Scottie) is survived by his parents, Wayne and Laurie French of Ferndale, his sister Tara Small (Jeff), niece Olivia and nephew Matthew.  His gentle soul will be missed.  Scott requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Special Operations Warrior Foundation. Memorial will be in the Spring. (college for children of fallen soldiers) warrior@specialops.org
