Roxie Diane Kowsky

Roxie Diane Kowsky, daughter of Lyle and Grace Leavitt, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at age 66.  Roxie was born and raised in Bellingham and graduated from Sehome High School with the class of 1975.  After high school, Roxie worked at several local restaurants and loved meeting people from all walks of life.  Roxie worked taking care of others for the bulk of her working career and was employed by several of the local assisted living businesses for many years.  For all that knew Roxie, she always had a smile for you and was happy to see you.  She never missed a family gathering and would bring her famous fudge to the family Christmas gathering every year.  She loved to bake and plant flowers in her gardens.  Her biggest love was her daughter and granddaughter and cherished the time they spent together.  She will be missed by all.

Roxie was preceded in death by her father, Lyle B. Leavitt, mother, Grace A. Leavitt and her brother Bret Leavitt.  She is survived by her husband Roderick Kowsky; brother Doyle (Butch) Leavitt, both of Bellingham; daughter Eternity Moreao and granddaughter of Arizona.  She also leaves behind family and friends who cared deeply for her.
