Roberto "Rob" G. Lara

Rob was called to be in the arms of the Lord unexpectedly, on December 1, 2025. He leaves behind his parents; Rafael and Sheelah, his sister Angela and niece.

Rob was a true friend, he alway lent a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Rob never judged and accepted people for who they were. He was always kind to those around him and we will miss his loving heart.

Rob was an avid lover of nature and thoroughly enjoyed camping and fishing. However, sports were Rob’s true passion and a true fan to the teams he loved. His proudest accomplishment was being a part of Ferndale High School’s varsity football team, winners of the State Championship in 2005.

A memorial service for Rob will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, 1:00pm, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 858 West Smith Road, Bellingham, WA 98226
