Robert Elmer Streubel, known affectionately as Bob, passed away on January 4, 2024, at the age of 73. He was born on January 31, 1950, in Bellingham Washington, to his late parents Elmer and Ollie StreubeI.
Bob was a loving husband, dedicated father and devoted Grampy. He leaves behind his beloved wife Patty Streubel, who stood by his side through thick and thin. Bob's memory will also be cherished by his son and daughter-in-law, Jared and Tiffany Streubel, his daughter and son-in-law, Megan and Derek Coggins, and his grandchildren, Braxton, Easton and Mabel.
Throughout his life, Bob had a fulfilling career at the GP Paper Mill, where he dedicated himself for many years. He joined the mill at the age of 19 and continued working there until its closure in 2007. Bob's dedication and hard work made a lasting impact on his colleagues and the community.
When he wasn't working, Bob enjoyed spending his free time pursuing his favorite hobbies. Fishing, hunting and golfing were among his greatest passions.
Friends and family are invited to join in the Celebration of Life for Bob Streubel. The service will be held at the Meridian High School Commons Area on Sunday, January 21, 2024, starting at 1:00 pm. It will be an opportunity to remember and honor the life of a remarkable man who touched the hearts of many.
In loving memory of Bob Streubel, may his legacy of love, dedication and devotion live on in the hearts and minds of all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
