Custer

Ramona Ann Littrell, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and best friend, went to be with her Savior the Lord Jesus Christ on September 29, 2021 at the age of 86. She was born July 27, 1935, in Pershing, Iowa, to Roy and Lydia Ellis, the 5th of 17 children. As a young girl, she was adventurous, independent, fearless and spirited, never caring about what others thought. She traveled to Seattle, Washington, at the age of 18 to visit her brother and sister-in-law. There, she would meet Donald Littrell, a friend of her brother's, whom she would shortly marry. Together, they raised 6 kids in the suburbs of Seattle, before moving to Custer, Washington, where they would retire. They would travel many times over the years to her home state oflowa, and Oklahoma to visit family, making stops along the way to explore the country and survive snowstorms through the Midwest on their adventures. Ramona was a loving mother, grandmother and caring friend who was always sharing about God, talking about life and helping others. She enjoyed recipe books, (though she didn't use them) and was an avid reader of the Bible and history. In addition to making the most amazing food, she taught all of her children how to preserve food through canning. Her favorite drink was a vanilla milkshake, and she loved driving with her grandkids to get ice cream at Edaleens, or out to lunch.

She absolutely enjoyed dancing and singing for God, and wasn't afraid to get up and be silly with all her grandchildren. She taught many of her grandchildren how to drive, and though she didn't get to teach any of her great or great-great grandchildren how to drive, she wouldn't give up the chance to take an ATV ride with them. She had an amazingly beautiful bond with Donald, her life long love, and he became her caregiver in her later years, along with support from their children and grandchildren. Although she was allergic to them, her favorite flowers were Lilacs, and she would never pass them by. She is survived by her husband, her brothers Roy James (Vernie) Ellis, Dwight (Mardell) Ellis, Donald (Pam) Ellis, Gary Ellis, her sisters Leila (Paul) Davis, Edith CTim) Mikesell, Sharon Kilby, her children Cathy Littrell, Darla (Mike) Valdez, Linda (Tony) Thompson, Howard (Keren) Littrell, Kenneth Littrell, Russ (Suzanne) Littrell, and over 75 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She will meet in heaven her parents, Roy and Lydia Ellis, and her siblings Roy Allen, Leora May, Linda Diane, Bobby Ellis, Johnny Ellis, Ronnie Ellis, Margaret Ellis, Carole Ahn, Harry Ellis. Her love for Jesus Christ and her husband Don, and her family and friends will always live on. God's Grace is constant and abiding for all, and we are so thankful.
