Peter Paul LoGrande was born February 23, 1955 in Gloucester, Massachusetts to Maria (Olia) and Michele LoGrande.
His parents were first generation immigrants from Trappeto, Sicily and came to the United States as Commercial Fisherman.
Peter was the 4th born of their 5 children and had 4 siblings Jacqueline Frisina, Sarah Colaruotolo, Salvatore LoGrande and Angelo LoGrande.
Peter lived in San Pedro, California and Bellingham, Washington attending San Pedro High School and Sehome High School.
He met his lifelong companion and wife Vickie Gayle Foster while at Sehome High School and they were married December 21, 1974 in Bellingham.
They had four children in their 42 years of marriage their daughters, Jeana Marie and Angela Linn and their sons Travis Dean, and Anthony Salvatore Peter.
The family has grown as their children married and found partners, Thomas Lanktree who married Jeana Marie, Sharene Ruyle who married Travis Dean and Danielle Thom who has built a family with Anthony.
Peter has 9 grandchildren Kylie Rae, Caleb Tyler, Thomas Michael Dean, Alex Dane, Maria Lyn, Evi Dawn, Charley Jean, Ryken Salvatore, and Kelson Laurence.
His Family was his life focus and he enjoyed and loved every moment with all of them.
He had a best friend and business partner Chuck Hamstreet who was with him and wife Vickie up to the last moments of his life.
He is survived by his wife, children and grandchildren along with his four siblings and their spouses. Salvatore Frisina, and Donna Bye LoGrande.
His six in laws Duane, CC, Kevin, Toni, Dennis, and Peggy Foster.
Peter had a special place in his heart for all 17 of his nieces and nephews and treated each of them as his own.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother in law Damiano Colaruotolo and sister in law Cindy LoGrande. A celebration of his life will be held Sunday, April 9, 2017, 2:00 PM, at the Rusty Bucket, 330 Cherry St., Sumas, WA 98295
