Paul A. Rockwell, 75 years of age, passed away at his home surrounded by family and friends on March 25, 2023, in Bellingham, WA.
Paul was born in Vancouver, Canada on September 28, 1947. He moved to the United States and graduated from Bellingham High School. He met the love of his life, Fran Lautenbach, and they married in August 1974. They celebrated 48 years of marriage together. Paul's greatest joys in life were his children and grandchildren.
In the past, Paul volunteered for the Awana Sparks kids' program at Immanuel Bible Church. He brought to life Sparky, the puppet, bringing laughter to many children each week. He was a long-time member of Cornwall Church and enjoyed serving as a greeter. Paul enjoyed people and made friends everywhere he went. He never met anyone he didn't want to get to know better. He worked in sales most of his life and is remembered for his kind nature and good humor.
Paul and Fran loved spending time together and made the most of their retired life. They spent many vacations camping, traveling, and going on cruises together as a couple and with friends and family. He relished a game of pinochle and spent many Saturday nights gathered with friends playing card games and visiting.
He is survived by his wife Fran Rockwell; children, Amy Felton (Matthew), Timothy Rockwell (Damaris), Brian Rockwell (Kelly); siblings in Canada; grandchildren, Adalyn, Matthew, Eliana, Amelia, McKenna, and Theodore; In laws, the Lautenbach’s and families. Paul's grandchildren loved him dearly. He was their 'Papa' and he created many wonderful memories for them.
