Patrick Ray Vollrath

Patrick Ray Vollrath passed on August 5th, 2023. He had been in Whatcom Hospice House since July 31st. It was a sad week but also a time for friends and family to gather around and reminisce. Loved ones were with him physically and in spirit as he departed this life. His pain and suffering is now lifted.

He is survived by his wife Sandra L., daughter Heidee, son Benjamin (Lindsay), brother Mark (Arne) and grandchildren Abby, Jackson, Kenny (in heaven), Joshua, and Brandon, Hudson and Blakely. Also daughter-in-law Stefanie Vargas (ken), son-in-law David Wiggins (Shannon).

He attended Bellingham High School and Skagit Valley Jr. college. He served his country proudly in the USN aboard the USS Kitty Hawk and was awarded two bronze stars.

He was an avid golfer, played frequently and watched intently. Also enjoyed pinochle, cribbage, football, games, darts and all family time.

Pat was "A Jack of All Trades", over his lifetime he worked for KGMI, Rothhausen Volkswagen, Overall, fished and cooked in Alaska, cooked in Restaurants and Nursing homes, painted.

Family will observe a celebration of life later..
