Patricia Lou Buss

Patricia Lou (Patrick) Buss, age 82, of Bellingham passed away at her home Friday, December 18, 2020 peacefully with her family at her side. She was a wonderful wife, mom and grandma. Patti was born August 23, 1938 to Ellsworth Milton and Wilma Amelia (Judkin) Patrick in Bellingham, she was the fifth of nine children. She graduated from Bellingham High School and married Roger Jay Buss, her high school sweetheart on November 16, 1956 and they just celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary. During her life Patti worked for Howard S. Wright as a key board operator, Western Washington University in publishing department and was an active volunteer for Mended Hearts for 10 years, and was avid with the Bellingham Senior Center for 20 years. Patti and Roger went on many Cruise vacations escorting Senior Center Tours.  Patti brightened many people’s lives. Her love for family and friends will be missed.  Patti was preceded in death by her daughter Laurie, her parents, sisters Lolita, Wilma and Delores and her brothers Gary and Michael. She is survived by her husband Roger, her daughter Connie, grandchildren Ronnie, Jaime and Stephanie and her 8 great grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
