Nettie Marie (Larsen) Lawson

Nettie Marie (Larsen) Lawson passed away August 17, 2017 at Twin Arbors Adult Family Home in Lynden. Nettie was born in Ferndale, WA on October 8, 1919, to Peter and Ellen Larsen on the family farm on Aldergrove Road. She worked for 17 years as the Office Manager at Dan Garrison Real Estate on Camano Island and 11 years as an Administrative Specialist in the City of Seattle's Engineering Department. During her retirement she spent many happy years travelling with her daughter, Joan, with whom she shared a home in Blaine, WA.

She is survived by her son, David (Irene), and was preceded in death by her son, Robert, and her daughter, Joan. In addition, she is survived and remembered lovingly by grandson, Jordan River Lawson (Hayley) of Bellingham, granddaughters, Rachel Lena Wytzka (Daniel Erb) Lawson of San Diego, CA, Amelia Mayer (John) of Nashville, TN, and Andrea Lawson of Bellingham. She was delighted by her two great-grandchildren, Hazel and Rufus.

Nettie will be remembered as a kind and gentle person, she always said, "My life is not important, just that I love the Lord, my family, and friends.
