Neil E. "Sonny" De Groot

Neil E. “Sonny” De Groot who was in his eighty first year died at home on Monday, April 14, 2025. His wife Patricia of 38 years was by his side. Neil was preceded in death by his daughter Kristine “Kris” Keene. He is survived by wife Patricia; daughter, Lori and her husband Rod Ten Kley; son in-law Marcus Keene and numerous other relatives. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at Greenwood Cemetery, 605 E. Wiser Lake Rd., Lynden, WA 98264 with Pastor James Carberry officiating. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations be made to Eden Health – Hospice, 316 McLeod Road, Suite #104, Bellingham, WA 98226.
