Michele Karleen Dickens

Michele Dickens, 78, passed away on November 21, 2021, at her home in Bellingham. Her family was with her: husband, Jim Dickens, and their four children - Susie Dickens (Monroe); Megan Cook (Bellingham); Brian Dickens & Dave Dickens (Phoenix). But Michele finally lost her long battle with cancer.
Michele grew up in Yakima and graduated from the University of Washington in 1965. She and Jim married in August 1965, and had a wonderful relationship for the 56 years of their marriage. Michele taught grade school before electing to stay home with her growing family. She loved visiting with the ladies in Bellingham and Woodinville, and sewing was a big hobby. She also enjoyed many pleasant days on the golf course with her family and friends.

Michele’s greatest happiness was that her family and she were very close. And the addition of two wonderful grandchildren in Bellingham, Piper and Bronco, added even more enjoyment. The family’s lament is that she left us too soon.
