Michael Jason Greget

    Michael Jason Greget, age 37, passed away unexpectantly May 25, 2020. He was born May 7, 1983 in Astoria, Oregon to Gary Anton Greget and Patricia Yvonne Greget.

    He moved to Bellingham in 1997 and he attended Meridian High School. He then went on to work as a carpenter for 15 plus years. Michael loved what he did and was very skilled. During the summers Michael also worked as a deckhand on seining boats in Alaska. He loved the outdoors, hiking, fishing, boating and snowboarding. He was an animal lover and had two dogs in his lifetime, Spanky and Polar. Michael left his mark in this world. He was smart, funny, charming, had the biggest heart, and was loved by everyone.

    Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia. He is survived by his step father, Stuart Bishop; his sisters, Yvette Hardesty, Stephanie Balicki (Jeremy), and Michele Apeles (Ted); nieces and nephews, Dustin, Briana, Mirage, Mason, Olivia, Jakob and Tegan; and numerous uncles, aunts, friends and co-workers.

    A celebration of life will be held in his honor at a later date for family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all.
