Michael Joe Ezell

Michael (Mike) Ezell, age 54, of Lynden died peacefully and went to be with his Lord on Thursday, December 7, 2017 in Lynden.  Mike was born in Bellingham, Washington on June 23, 1963. He grew up in Lynden, Washington and attended Lynden Christian School. Mike worked at Vander Pol Building Components for the past 30+ years. Mike enjoyed horses, Mustangs, and fishing with his friends. 

Mike is survived by his father and mother Eddie and Kay(Vander Pol) Ezell, son Joseph Ezell, daughter Anna Ezell, sister Debra (Tracy) Devries and brother Kent (Reba) Ezell, both of Grand Rapids, Michigan, niece Carolyn Ezell, and nephews Joshua Ezell, Samuel, Luke, and Zachary Devries. Mike is also survived by close friends Glen and Lisa Oostema, Frank and Sue Nydam, and Ryan and Donna Stuit. 

A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, December 29, 2017 at Third Christian Reformed Church, 514 Liberty St., Lynden, WA at 1:00 PM with Pastor Homer Wigboldy officiating and coffee and cookies to follow in the reception hall. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Mike’s life. Contributions to Mike’s memorial expenses would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
