Michael Ray Davis Jr., affectionately known as Mike D., passed away peacefully on July 2, 2025, at Tacoma General Hospital, at the young age of 38. Born on October 4, 1986, in Boynton Beach, Florida, he was the cherished son of Michael Sr. & Rita and Maria & Jim. The loss of Mike D. is preceded by his beloved PopPop, Grandma, Pappa, and Mummi. Their love and teachings were pivotal in shaping the wonderful man that he became.
He is survived by his loving wife, Shereen, their beautiful daughter, Shaina, his devoted parents - Michael Sr. & Rita and Maria & Jim, his caring older sister Elisa, and his younger siblings, Miles & Rachel. His family was his pride and joy, and their bond was unbreakable.
He was a proud graduate of Lynden High School, and his sense of duty and love for his country led him to join the U.S Army right after graduation. He served as a Military Police Officer for five years until an injury led to his honorable discharge. Following his military service, Mike transitioned to a career as a Security Officer. He later worked for AT&T for 10 years and was employed at T-Mobile Virtual Retail at the time of his passing.
A beloved figure in his community, Mike D., was an individual of many talents and interests, he was a man of great character. His resilience and positive outlook on life were infectious. He was a beacon of positivity and generosity. He was a man who would literally give the shirt off his back to someone in need. He was renowned for his infectious smile, which could light up a room. He always had the best interest in his heart for his loved ones, friends, and everyone he crossed paths with.
His love for Jesus, his wife, and daughter, his family and friends, the Miami Dolphins Football team, and his passion for music brought him immense joy and happiness.
We will forever miss Mike's warmth and kindness, his infectious spirit, his sense of humor and his unwavering love for his family and friends. Mike D. deeply touched every life he came into, and it is comforting to know that his memory will live on in the hearts of so many. reminding us of the power of love, generosity, and positivity. As we continue to grieve, we find solace in the fact that his spirit is at peace and that he is watching over us from above.
May his soul find peace and serenity in the embrace of the Lord.
