Melvina Daws

Melvina Daws, age 85, of Ferndale passed away Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017. Born in Fredonia, Kansas March 15, 1932 to parents Harry and Maude Melvina (Swain) Mount and moved to Ferndale in 1946. She graduated from Ferndale High School in 1950 and married her high school sweetheart Bill Daws in 1952. Throughout her life she loved her pets, boating, camping, and working in her flower garden. She was retired from Horizon Bank in Ferndale. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill and sister Imogene, she is survived by her sons Greg Daws, Jeff Daws (Renate); grandson Matthew (Danielle); great grandson Dylan and nieces & nephews. A graveside service will be held at Greenacres Cemetery, Friday, Sept. 29, 2017 at 12:00 Noon.
