Melvin Charles Hewett, age 71, of Ferndale passed away Friday, February 1, 2019 in Bellingham at PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center. He was born August 8, 1947 in Bellingham, Washington to his parents William Charles and Jacqueline (Toner) Hewett. He is survived by his children, Samantha Hewett, Bryce Allen, Austin Hewett, and Samuel Hewett; his siblings, Patsy Higman, Greg Hewett, Bill Hewett, and his service dog, Isaac “woowoo”.
