Melinda spent the majority of her growing up years in California. She was a dancer from the time she was five years old, and she performed many places, such as talent shows, and TV shows, one of which included the famed actor Tab Hunter. She made a home with Bob and their children Vanessa, Vickie, and Robert near the lake Whatcom area in Bellingham, and spent her final days in the home they retired to in Birch Bay where they have lived since 2005.

A private family ceremony will be held on Friday, August 30, 2013. The family asks that rather than flowers, a donation be sent in Melinda’s name to the Whatcom Human Society, 3710 Williamson Way, Bellingham, WA 98226. We wish her all the Angel’s speed, prayers, and blessings as she joins her daughter Vickie in the hands of God.
