Maverick John Kanis

Maverick John Kanis was born October 5th 2019. His Heavenly Father called him home October 4th 2019.  Although Maverick’s life was shorter than most, in the 39 weeks he was living, he was and continues to be loved more than the waves in the ocean. His life from the day he was conceived was full of excitement from his movements in the womb to thoughts about the life he would lead after birth. Maverick was always on the go just like his mommy. He spent his days kicking, jumping, and summersaulting around. Even as a full term baby he found space to stay active and on the move. He was a night owl and enjoyed a midday nap just like his daddy. In his short life he traveled to 3 different countries, 6 states and 2 provinces. He loved playing poke you back with anyone willing to play. He even managed to make it to kindergarten for half of his life. Maverick’s life was full of activity, safety, warmth, and love. Maverick was the first grandchild on his mother’s side of the family and the first grandson on his father’s side of the family. He was loved and cherished by many.  At birth he had large hands and feet seemingly indicating that he would have grown into a tall man. He had blond curly hair, chubby cheeks and his face was a perfect mixture of his mommy and daddy.  He was fearfully and wonderfully made. We love you so much Maverick John Kanis and we cannot wait to be reunited with you again. Until that time we wait in eager anticipation of that glorious day!
