Martin "Pete" Jerger

Martin “Pete” Jerger, age 90, of Bellingham, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 22, 2012. He was born December 29, 1921 in Florence (near Stanwood) Washington. Pete was a WWII Army veteran, with the Third Division, serving from North Africa to Salzburg, Austria and landed on the Beach of Anzieo, and was discharged as a Staff Sergeant. He has employed by Bell Telephone for over 38 years. Pete was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grand father and will be dearly missed.
