Marjory Maurine Kelly

Marjory Maurine Kelly, age 99, of Bellingham, Washington passed away peacefully on Friday, December 6, 2019. She was born August 29, 1920 in Carey, Idaho to parents Robert Bruce Baird, and Erma Enola (Smallwood) Baird.  

As the years went by, Marjory and family moved to Sunnyside, WA and she enjoyed working at the family owned Baird’s café as the head cook and she specialized in Homestyle food: hamburgers, potato salad, soups and steak.  

At home, and during the Christmas season she was known for her delicious cinnamon rolls that were devoured shortly after taking out of the oven.  She excelled at baking bread, pies, and fruit cakes (that everybody loved and never were thrown away or given to someone else.) Everybody loved her chicken n' home-made noodles with fritters.  

Marjory loved traveling, and it was her great joy to visit each daughter's home throughout the years, spending time with her grandchildren. There were family reunions, weddings and birthdays to be celebrated! Marjory was always there, blessing the family with amazing food!

Marjory is survived by her 4 daughters; Carroll Godfrey of Bellingham, WA, Jean (Larry) Robbins of Forest Grove, Oregon, Marie Tuttle of Weiser, Idaho and Telly Roderick of Kirkland, WA. She was blessed with 11 Grandchildren, 14 Great-Grandchildren, and
2 Great-Great-Grandchildren.

A private family interment was held at Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Forest Grove, Oregon. A Celebration of Life Service will be announced at a later date.
