Marjorie Jean Gilmore

Marjorie Jean Gilmore, age 53, of Maple Falls, passed away in Bellingham, Friday, November 30, 2012 after an extended illness. She was born April 2, 1959 in Wenatchee, Washington to her parents Wayne Rook and Marjorie Jean (Smith) Gilmore. Marjorie married Timothy Ronald Gilmore in Bellingham in 1978. She loved cooking and baking and for many years Marjorie cooked for various Restaurants in Whatcom County including; the Cedars in Ferndale, the Silver Fox in Everson and the B&B in Sumas. Marjorie is survived by her husband of 34 years Timothy; son, Timothy Gilmore of Maple Falls; daughter, Alisha Haugen and husband Dustin of Montana; 2 grandsons, Tevan and Austin; 2 sisters, Rosemary Baker and husband John and Katherine Rook; 2 brothers, Sunny and Scottie Rook; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. A memorial celebration of life will be held Thursday, December 13, 2012, 12:30 PM, North County Christ The King Community Church, Kendall Campus, 8794 Kendall Rd., Maple Falls, WA 98266, with Pastor Steve Scroggins officiating.
