Margene Noteboom, aged 90, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023. She was born on December 5, 1932, on a family farm in Clearbrook, Washington, to parents Albert and Agnes (Douma) Roosendaal. Margene married Russell Noteboom, and together, they ran a dairy farm until their retirement.  She is survived by her three daughters: Sharon (Randy) Heeringa, Linda (Randy) Duim, and Janet (Kevin) Rutgers, as well as her daughter-in-law, Shawna Noteboom Presley.  They were active members of First Reformed Church and cherished spending time with family and friends while also enjoying travel.

 

Margene was preceded in death by her husband Russell, her son Jerry, her parents Albert and Agnes, and her brother Don Roosendaal.

 

A celebration of Margene's life will take place on Saturday, August 12th, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at First Reformed Church located at 610 Grover Street, Lynden, Washington 98264. Pastor Chuck Kleinhesselink will officiate the service. The family suggests making any memorial contributions to First Reformed Church missions or the American Cancer Society.

    • Great-Grandchild: Harper

Daughter: Janet (Kevin) Rutgers
