LaRue Czajkowski left us on Wednesday, April, 13, 2022 to reunite with her beloved husband, Ted, who passed away in October. LaRue didn’t want to live in a world that didn’t have Ted in it; they were so deeply intertwined. LaRue survived over thirty brain surgeries in as many years, leaving her body severely disabled, but never diminishing her kind heart and subversive wit. Once an elementary school teacher, she continued to volunteer at local schools, helping students who needed extra support. She brought Humane Society presentations into classrooms. She raised money for the Red Cross. Her physical barriers were massive, but her will was stronger. Although she rarely left the house, she stayed connected with folks via phone calls and postcards. She loved people. Please join her daughter for a simple graveside gathering at Bayview Cemetery, 1420 Woburn Street, Bellingham, WA on Wednesday June 8, 2022 at 1:00 PM. LaRue wore jeans to her wedding, so come as you are.
