Joyce Hinton Veroske Marshall was born August 1, 1931, in Entiat, Washington, and passed peacefully on January 31, 2026, in Bellevue, Washington.
She was preceded in death by Fred Veroske, with whom she shared her three daughters, and by John Marshall, her second husband.
She is survived by her daughters, Melissa Williams, Kim E. Gates, and Rebecca Veroske; three brothers; four grandsons; four great-granddaughters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Joyce spent most of her adult life in Bellingham, Washington, later moving to Yakima, where she enjoyed the sunshine. Her final years were spent in Bothell and Bellevue, Washington.
Joyce was a wonderful cook and enjoyed entertaining. She was an avid reader and excelled at knitting and needlework. She also enjoyed growing flowers and the companionship of her beloved pets. Her passion was searching for and acquiring antiques.
Interment will be held at the Fraternal Cemetery in Chelan, Washington, on February 21, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Alzheimer’s Association.
