Joanne Elizabeth Cadman

Joanne Elizabeth (Wiebe) Cadman, age 73, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 19, 2019 in her home, from cancer.

She was born on February 14, 1946, on Valentine’s Day, in Bellingham, Washington to parents John L. and Marie (Schroeder) Wiebe.  Joanne married her high school sweetheart, Donald Cadman, March 20, 1964, at the Rome Chapel.  They were married for 54 loving years.

Joanne was the loving mother of two sons, Rod and Clint, where she was a stay at home mother.  Joanne not only loved her own children and grandchildren, but all children that were in her care.

Her home was full of love and it was always a joy to spend time at being full of laughter, and the hub of all family activity.  She loved her home, in the woods, where wildlife was all around her.  If you ever needed anything, Joanne was just a phone call away, where she gave her loving advice, and was always understanding.

Joanne loved music, and loved playing the harmonica.  She had an ear for music, she would listen to a song on the radio, and could then play it on her harmonicas.

Joanne was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry,  and is survived by her husband, Don; her brothers, Johnny & wife Nancy (Deceased), Richard & wife Sandie, Henry & Wife Pam, Ronnie & wife Doreen; sisters, Marilyn & husband Norm (deceased), Ruthie & husband Dale, and Susan & boyfriend Don; her two sons Rod & wife Sherrie and Clint & girlfriend Joy;  5 grandchildren Hans & wife Bailey, Jens & wife Amy, Christine & husband Daniel, Alisha & fiancé Wes and Walker; 8 great grandchildren Brianna, Tara, Ole, Otar, Booker, River, Caiden and Carson; numerous nieces and nephews that she loved very much.

Joanne is also survived by her dog, Cookie, who is still missing her and waiting for her to come home.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 2, 2019, 2:00 PM at Rome Community Bible Church, 2729 Mt. Baker Hwy., Bellingham, WA 98226 with Pastor Scott Lidbeck officiating.
