Jim W. Sessions

Jim W. Sessions, age 67, of Bellingham, WA passed away Thursday, October 18, 2012 surrounded by family.

Jim was born in Calexico, California on October 11, 1945 and was the youngest of five siblings. He relocated to Bellingham in 1975. Thirty three years ago Jim married the love of his life, Sarah. They were best friends and shared a profoundly loving and very happy life together.

Jim worked at Bellingham Cold Storage for thirty four years as a fork lift driver and had just retired last year when his health started to decline. Jim enjoyed some great and lasting friendships that he developed over the years at BCC.

Jim was preceded in death by his mother and father, Sister Nancy Pangle and his brother Hiram Sessions. He is survived by his wife Sarah Sessions, his two sons Donavon Sessions, Shannon Sessions and three step children, Kestin Liberato, Steven Hempler, and Susan Hempler. Jim was also the proud Papa to seven beautiful and healthy grandchildren, Brandon, Charlotte, Tyler, Aaron, Brooklyn, Kenadi and Katrin. Also surviving are Jim’s brothers Fred Sessions and Andy Machen. Jim was preceded in death by his mother and father, Sister Nancy Pangle and his brother Hiram Sessions.

Jim will forever be remembered by his sharp wit and his punchy sense of humor. You will be dearly missed and we love you Papa Jim.

A private and family dinner will be held to celebrate Jim’s life.
