J. K. Peterson

J K Peterson, age 60, of Bellingham passed away in Bellingham on September 21, 2016 following a brief illness. J K was born in Bellingham on March 13, 1956 to parents Kenneth and Joyce Peterson. Throughout J K’s life he had many interests which included taking long trips on his Harley. He enjoyed spending time with his many friends and also enjoyed local history. J K loved all animals, especially all his pets. J K had a generous and caring spirit and was ready to respond to friends and family who came to him for help. J K had the capability of lightening the load of heavy hearts and all who knew him will miss that in their lives. J K is preceded in death by his father Kenneth Merrill Peterson, mother Joyce Ardis (Kruzer) Peterson, Aunt Jeanne (Kruzer) Smith and grandparents, Charlie and Josie Peterson, and Jake and Julie Kruzer. J K is survived by brother, Karl (Linda) Peterson and many cousins. A memorial service for J K will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 1:00pm at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, 1720 Harris Avenue, Bellingham, WA 98225 with a reception at church following. In lieu of flowers, it is suggested that memorial donations to honor J K be made to The Lighthouse Mission, 910 West Holly Street, Bellingham, WA 98225.
