Harley “Bear” J. Gray, age 81 of Blaine, WA passed away Saturday, May 28, 2025 in Bellingham, WA. He was born Feb. 25, 1944 in Clay, West Virginia to parents Harley and Nina Ilene (Adkins) Gray. Harley graduated high school at Garaway High School in Sugarcreek, OH and went on to spend 20 years in the US Army, retiring with the Rank of Sergeant First Class.  While in the Military he graduated college with a Master’s Degree in Electronics and Economics. He was preceded in death by his parents and his younger brother Fred. Harley is survived by his son John and his wife Christine; grandchildren Kiana and Malia Gray; sister, Elzavie Levengood; niece, Michelle Giacalone; nephew Cory Levengood and his wife Alison; great nieces and nephews, Chloe and Foina Giacalone, Landen and Gianna Levengood. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held Wednesday, June 11, 2025, 12:30 P.M. at Tahoma National Cemetery, 18600 SE 240th Street, Kent, WA 98042.
