Guy passed away at Whatcom Hospice House due to complications from Parkinson’s Disease
Born in Shiloh, Illinois, Guy moved to Bellingham at the age of 10 with his family.
He enjoyed playing softball with his children and grandchildren.
As a skilled woodworker, Guy produced many high-quality pieces of furniture, including custom designed hope chests for each granddaughter.
Retired from the Post Office after 33 years, Guy and Kathy spent their free time antiquing and gardening.
Guy is survived by his wife Kathy, Sons Richard (Jake/MacKenzie &son Decker) , John (Chelsea/Anna/Bridgette) Daughter Sally (Jennifer(Peter) daughter Charly / Katrina daughter Lily)
Sisters LaDonna (Fritz) Meyer, Candy (Jeff) Smith and brother Terry (Thu) Hawes and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
Donations can be made in his name at Whatcom Hospice House or Alternative Humane Society
