Gordon C. Loomis, age 83, passed away November 8, 2013 in Bellingham.

He is survived by his wife JoAnn Loomis, daughters Marcia (Bill) Dorn, Marie (Kel) Erickson, Marilynn (Kelly) Stamm, Patsy Hearn, Nancy (David) Rainford, Catherine (Jim) Leat, and numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Gordon was born in Bellingham and was active in Jaycees, especially with the annual Christmas Ship, Men’s League Bowling and the Lake Padden Golf Club where he was President for many years. He served in the National Guard.

Gordon worked for years at Bellingham Builders and Pacific Concrete until his retirement. He had great knowledge of concrete and concrete products.

Gordon loved to fish in his early years and golfed whenever he could in his later years. He loved to play cards online and was a regular at the casinos.

During his retirement years Gordy used to like to visit JoAnn’s sister in Oregon and his cousin Jerry in Palm Springs.

Gordon was preceded in Death by his parents, Clifford and Evelyn Loomis and stepsons Steven and Dennis Marshall.

A memorial open house will be held Saturday, November 16, 2013 from 1PM to 4PM at Lakeway Mobile Estates at the Clubhouse.
