Gayle Glass

Gayle (Hoyt) Glass, age 64, of Bellingham, passed away at Whatcom Hospice House on Sunday, December 15, 2013, surrounded by her daughter, sister and brothers. Gayle was born, February 8, 1949 in Bellingham Washington to Ruth V. (Korstad) and Donald R. Hoyt Sr. She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her daughter, Jodi Byrom & fiancé Anthony Trinidad of Bellingham; grandson Jordan Byrom of Newnan, Georgia; brother, Don Hoyt Jr. & wife Jill; brother, David Hoyt and her sister Darlene Moore & husband Don all from Bellingham. Gayle is also survived by 3 nephews, 2 nieces and 4 great nieces.

Gayle graduated from Bellingham High School in the class of 1967 and worked in various restaurants as a cook and held several positions as a nanny. She also lived in Wenatchee, WA and Georgia during her adult years. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her grandson…her ‘little Jordie’ as she called him and to befriend anyone who needed a friend. She will be missed.

At Gayle’s request there will be no services.
