Fredrick "Fred" Johansen Hensley

Fredrick "Fred" Johansen Hensley, age 63, passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family Friday, January 6, 2017 in Bellingham, WA.  Fred was born September 22, 1953 in Bellingham to Lane and Phyllis Johansen.  Fred enjoyed working on cars, NASCAR racing, fishing and the Seattle Seahawks.  His greatest joy was helping people; he would give you the shirt off his back if he could.   He was preceded in death by his sister Sherry Johansen-Talton; and is survived by his mother, Phyllis Johansen; father, Lane Johansen and stepmother, Joan Johansen; sisters, Elise Johansen and Wendy (Bob) Downing; brother, Ed (Patti) Johansen;  daughters, Elise Lingbloom-McCall and Charlina Johnson.  6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.  A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, January 21, 2017, 1:00 PM at the Mt. Baker Lanes, 1788 Labounty Drive, Ferndale, WA 98248.
