Elise Marquerite Sabiston

Elise Marquerite Sabiston, age 89, passed away of natural causes on October 4^th, 2023.  Elise was born in Wauchope, Saskatchewan on June 3, 1934 to parents Alphonse and Gabrielle (Laval) Rogg.  She became a psychiatric nurse after high school, but fate had other plans and she met and married Clifford Sabiston in 1956.  Together with their young family they moved to the United States in 1965 where she lived the remainder of her life.

She worked for a few years at Pacific Pearl Seafoods, but her main focus was her family.  She was the most happiest surrounded by her children, grand children and those she loved and adored.  Her laughter and the wink of her eye when giving loved ones a hard time, will be missed beyond words.

Elise was preceded in death by her parents and 8 of her 9 siblings.  She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Clifford Sabiston of Bellingham, her daughter Kim (Jerome) Longeau & family of Regina, Saskatchewan, son Woody (Nancy) Sabiston & family of Bellingham, daughter Margo Sabiston & family of Kelowna, BC and sister Gabrielle (Peter) Warren of Vancouver, BC. 

Elise requested no services be held, but please feel free to leave any thoughts or memories for the family here.  May the blessings of a good life lived follow you into heaven.
