Edwin Raymond Cronk

Edwin Raymond Cronk passed away peacefully at his home Tuesday, November 26, 2013, surrounded by his loving family. Ed was born November 18, 1956, in Bellingham, Washington to Ray and Carol Cronk. After graduating from Mt. Baker High School, Ed served in the Navy for a decade. Following an honorable discharge for his military service, he worked as a heavy equipment operator for over 20 years. Ed was an avid gardener and loved entertaining family and friends around the fire. Nothing made him happier than spending time with his grandchildren. Ed was preceded in death by his parents Carol and Ray. He is survived by his wife Becki Cronk; children Jay (Kim) Fredere of Deming, WA, Kim (Steve) Fredere of Maple Falls, WA and Brad (Kit) Fredere of Eastern WA; grandchildren, Ksenja (Kevin) Trepanier, Emma Fredere, Derek Fredere, Jake Sande, Chloe Fredere, Talyn Donk, Montanna Scott; siblings Neal (Brenda) Cronk, Nora (Ron) Taylor and Diane Cronk. The family would like to thank ‘the Sunday Breakfast Bunch”; Hospice and the Deming Community for their help, support, kind thoughts and gestures during this time. A memorial service with military honors and benefit will be held Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 1:00pm at the Deming Log Show grounds, 3295 Cedarville Road, Bellingham, WA 98226.
