Douglas Jay Severson

Douglas Jay Severson, age 63, of Bellingham, passed away Monday, December 10, 2012 at Bellingham Health Care Rehabilitation Services in Bellingham. Doug was born May 21, 1948 in Wenatchee, Washington to parents Chester Orlando and Selma (Strand) Severson. He graduated from Bellingham High School in the class of 1966. Doug served in the United States Coast Guard, and was honorably discharged in February of 1975. He is survived by his brother Chester J. Severson of Anchorage, Alaska and numerous other relatives and friends. Private family inurnment will be held at Greenacres Cemetery in Ferndale, Washington.
