Diane "Hoyer" Knittel

Diane “Hoyer” Knittel, went to be with the Lord, Friday, August 10, 2012. She was born November 11, 1944 to Earl James and Wilma Beatrice (Gaulkey) Hoyer of Whatcom County. Diane was raised on the family farm on the Noon Road. She was lifetime resident of Whatcom County and lived and died at the family farm. Diane was preceded in death by her son Chris and a great grandson Dayton; she is survived by her husband of 40 years Glenn Knittel; her children, Dennis and Cheri Rathjen, Eyvonne and Brad Williamson, Dixie Rathjen and Troy and Dee Dee Rathjen; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held with a Barbeque Potluck, Salmon, Chicken and drinks provided, Sunday, August 19, 2012 1:00 – 5:00 PM at the home of Dennis and Cheri Rathjen, 1776 Noon Valley Drive.
