Debra Ann McCombs

Debra Ann McCombs was born on Monday March 12th, 1962 to her parents Richard and May Marzocco in Northamptonshire, England. She is the middle child of her older brother Steve and younger sister Michele. Growing up with their dad in the Air Force, her family moved through different countries and states of the U.S. but settled in California when she was older. Then she met her husband Bill, they had their firstborn son Sam, and decided to move to the Pacific Northwest to raise their family and start a new home. Brittney and Alex, their other children, came soon after. Debbie was so joyous when she met her grand baby later on, Phoenix May, Brittney’s daughter. The two had an unbreakable bond and love for each other like nobody else. She would sacrifice anything for her family and wanted them to know how deeply she loved them and watched over them. Family was the center of her world.

Debbie found a love for Jesus, was reborn, and became extremely active in the church. "Miss Debbie" the Sunday school teacher, touched the hearts of many children who all adored her. Passionate, forgiving, selfless and loving, she was a person and mentor that many people were blessed to have known. She always stayed positive and forgiving and no matter the circumstance, she enlightened you that it would in fact get better, a woman of wise words.

Debbie always offered a helping hand where she could. She took care of anyone needing assistance when she was able, whether it be general care, advice and a listening ear, or cooking meals. She lived for Jesus and strived to spread his light in all that she did. Modest and kind, Debbie never wanted recognition for what she had done, but it never went unnoticed. So many people loved her and she made an impact on many lives.

Debbie filled the room with her sense of humor and her fantastic story telling. She had a love for water at a young age, a fish always swimming, and as she got older her and her husband Bill were always taking trips to the San Juan Islands to bask in the glorious environment, fish, and enjoy each other’s company. Debbie was known for her love of good food and excellent cooking skills that left a mark in everyone’s heart and tummy.

She went to Heaven to be with the Lord on Tuesday night April 27th, 2021. Debbie is incredibly loved and will be sorely missed. Her humor, loving heart, and inspiring light lives on with her memory.
