David Al Cullup

David A Cullup, age 62,  of Bellingham, Washington, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 5, 2017, after a short battle with lung cancer.  David was born June 21, 1954 in Seattle, Washington to parents Lynn and Ethel (Cushing) Cullup and grew up in Portage Creek, Alaska before moving to Ferndale, Washington, where he graduated from Ferndale High School, with the Class of 1973. After high school he served in the US Navy, and married Joselle in 1974.  Dave enjoyed spending time with his family, loved fishing, and was always helping out those in need. He leaves behind a daughter, Hillary Cullup; son, Jeremy Cullup; his three grandsons, Jamison, Jaylynn, and Jaxon Cullup; two granddaughters, Payton Caskey, Aymah Cullup and his beloved dog Spencer. In his last year of life he spent many days fishing the Kalama river, meeting new friends, spending time with old friends, always with his little dog (Spencer) in tow.  David was a friendly, generous, loving man who will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
