Darlene May Ifft

Darlene May Ifft, age 84, of Everson, Washington, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, August 31, 2025.

Born on March 31, 1941, Darlene entered the world just 15 minutes after her twin sister Marlene. From the beginning, they were two peas in a pod, sharing a lifelong bond that shaped Darlene’s heart for connection and compassion.

Darlene dedicated nearly 20 years of her life to teaching kindergarten, where her gentle spirit and patient heart left a lasting impact on countless young lives. Beyond the classroom, she faithfully served in numerous churches, prayer groups, and woman’s ministries, like Aglow, where her unwavering faith in Jesus and love for others shined brightly.

Her life was a beautiful testament to kindness, prayer and steadfast devotion to the Lord. She touched all who knew her with her warmth, wisdom, and deep compassion.

Darlene is survived by her beloved husband, John David Ifft; daughters Donna and Christine; son Michael; and their families, who carry her legacy of Jesus and love forward.

A celebration of life will be held later in September. Details will be shared with family and friends.
