Daniel Brent Ten Kley

 Daniel Brent Ten Kley age 58 went to be with Jesus on June 3, 2022 in Bellingham, WA. Danny was born June 5, 1963, to Gerrit and Marie (Kalsbeek) Ten Kley. Danny lived at home in Deming until the age of 18 and attended Redwood School. He lived in various group homes in Bellingham and Skagit County. In 1996 he found his incredible caregiving family at Cascade Christian Home in Lynden WA, where he resided until his death. Danny was extremely loved by all that knew him and worked with him, especially his last caregiver Jessica.

Danny loved music and playing his keyboard. He loved singing with us, especially Jesus Loves Me. He was a big fan of Sesame Street, and his favorite was Big Bird.

He was preceded in death by his nephew Buddy Vaughan, grandparents Pete & Cora Korevaar and Jake & Minnie Kalsbeek, numerous Uncles, Aunts and Cousins. He is survived by his siblings Sue (Bud) Vaughan, Lynn (Val) Ten Kley, Beth (Rick) Strotz, 4 nieces, 2 nephews, 8 great nieces and 6 great nephews.

 A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on July 9, 2022, at Hopewell Cemetery. Following the service, the family invites you to “go for aaaaride” to the Strotz residence for a get together and maybe “milk-shakes” (5901 Lind Road Everson WA) “socks on” or “socks off” your choice …. aaaaaamen!
